well here's a random post about mouse! err mouse as in those used on computers not the olden days mouse. As we all know, without a mouse, we won't be able to do much with the computer. (okay to be precise, we still can use most of the pc's function, however, it will be much slower and less efficient of course.) So, early this year when i first got my notebook, the first thing i looked for was a mouse. The first one i used with my notebook was a traditional, non-optical, typical mouse. It was not bad except for the less precision and sometimes not able to responds properly. (That mouse was not a new one.) Until, one day i got fed up with the poor responds and decided to get one, and i got one cheap optical mouse some malaysian brand i think, cost me about rm20+. Well, optical mouse are different from old traditional mouse, since they run by using infrared technology, and have no ball inside it, its far lighter than of a traditional mouse. On contrast, the traditional mouse promises a more stable weight but less precise movement. Sadly the optical mouse i bought then, last me only for a few months then it does not respond when i plug it into my pc. (short circuit i think, since the only thing inside an optical mouse is a circuit containing infrared emitter and infrared receiver and some sort of plastic prism which act as a focusing medium.) Thus, i venture out into the market again, searching for another mouse. This time i went back to traditional mouse, a very cheap one, again malaysian brand cost me RM9 only. Overall, the mouse not bad, the only downside is the scroll, the first one i brought back screwed up when i use the scroll, so i went back to change another one. At first, after changing a new mouse, the scroll works find but after some time(since i use alot of scrolling and pressing of the scroll button cause of tab browsing and all) the scroll soon losses responds! without a scroll mouse, things become very difficult and slow for me, for i am a very heavy scroll button user. After some time bearing the use of a non-scrolling mouse, i got fed up and went to find another mouse.(it's also because i got a voucher and since i have nothing else to buy so i decided to buy another mouse)
At first i was considering to get a gaming mouse from Razer! but come to think of it, i dont really need a gaming mouse since i dont game much on the pc and the price of a gaming mouse is really expansive and it's really unnecessary for me. And so, i ended up getting a mickey mouse mouse. (actually it's because i dont have any other choice due to tight budget and some other factors.) was actually wanting to get a wireless one but the one i want was out of stock and others are over my budget. The one i'm using currently is an optical mouse, up to now there aren't any major problem, so let's see how long can this one last me.
From my experience, i personally like a mouse with some weight for stability as of a traditional mouse and precision as more of a optical one. Of course there are such mouse out there in the market, however quality goods comes with a quality price. So, what i can conclude here is , dont go for expansive mouse, if you really want expansive ones, go for the very very expansive ones, like razer gaming mices and some logitech and microsoft ones (my very expansive ones means >rm150) otherwise, it will get spoil easily. If you don't want to go for very expansive ones, then go for the very cheap one(around
