right so i haven't been updating my blog for quite some time and it's time to update now

well, things that happened recently are:

- i got that ipod i wanted
- my pierced ears got infected damn it!
- i reformated my pc afew days back

about the ipod classic it's damn nice to have the whole collection of music with you whenever you go
in the car, while waiting, while studying everywhere LOL nice! and i can use it as a hardisk as well since it still have 53gb free space after having my whole library in it.

about my pierced ears getting infected~!!
it's do damn sui, one day i found out that my ears is swelling and felt that there was puss in the piercing. I took of my earrings and guess what, i cant get it in again cause the puss was blocking the hole and it's hella painful when i try to push it through. So i have to take it off and apply some antibiotic cream to cure the infection. And few days back i notice that my piercing is starting to close up! damn means i might have to pierce again after it close up... ish!

about reformatting my pc
well, it's not because of what major virus problem. It's just because the last reformat when i partitioned my hardisk i partitioned it wrongly, not exactly wrong it's just that i allocate to little space for the main OS drive and it keeps getting low in disk space. SO i reformated the whole pc, repartitioned it. I kinda discovered some cool stuff in the process of reinstalling everything back. For instance, some cool addons for mozilla firefox, and protable apps for usb drives.

it's whereby you have this tool bar on your firefox and you have to sign up and select your interests and when you're bored or feel like looking at some interesting sites of your interest, all you have to do is to push the button on the tool bar.. kinda cool i highly recommend it to you guys who always sit in front of the pc when you have nothing else to do!

zotero
supposely is created for help scolars to do their assignment i watched their video tutorial and it seems impressive. i haven't really tried it out but i will when i do my MS project this weekend.

ScribeFire
this is the app which i am using to post my blog. With this add on all you have to do is to click on the little button and a panel will apear on your firefox for you to write your blog and post it. It's kinda useful when posting while refering to a certain site or whatever. i haven't really learnt how to use the full potential of this add on but i think it will quite useful.

Foxytunes
This addon enable you to control your music player while browsing. A little control panel will apear at the bottom of your firefox. It can even search for information relted to the track you're listening.

PicLens
This is one of the coolest plugin i have ever seen. You can view pics in a whole new different way. highly recommended! however not all pages are supported by this addon.

Greasemonkey
This plugin can do wonders if you know scripting!
i use it to dl youtubes movies in mp4 format cool stuff

all-in-one sidebar
another useful addon which you have your bookmark, downloads, history plugins page source all in one side bar which is easily acessible i like this plugin alot very useful indeed

tab mix plus
tab browsing manager.. it can be customized accordingly to personal preference.. makes tab browsing even more powerful with firefox!


well thats for the addons i used recently It does slows down your browser abit but the functions they offer outweigh the little lagness which sometimes occurs.

Another interesting stuff i discovered is call Portable Apps
this i where you install this portable applications onto your portable drive let it be a normal usb pendrive, or ipod or sd card..and launch it on any computer you plug your portable device into. I recommend the portable apps standard suites which includes some portable version of firefox, thunderbird, open offices and many more. It requires only 500mb for the apps suite. google for portable apps to get to the page.
